Female Sexual Function Forum (FSFF)
A new international, multi-disciplinary, academic and scientific forum, the Female Sexual Function Forum or FSFF, was recently organized to focus exclusively on womens sexual health. The purpose of the FSFF is:
- to provide opportunities for communication among scholars, researchers and practitioners about female sexual function and womens sexual experiences.
- to support the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in research, education and clinical practice of female sexuality.
- to provide the public with accurate information about female sexuality and female sexual health.
The first FSFF meeting, sponsored by Boston University Medical Center, was held October 2000 in Boston. Medical experts presented papers on the latest advances in womens health. Approximately 500 attendees including gynecologists, urologists, sex therapists and other medical professionals from around the world attended the first FSFF meeting.
